During the prestigious European IT & Software Excellence Awards, which took place in London, DocLogix was recognized as the best information and document management solution in Europe this year. Awards panel was presented with the successful implementation of the company’s system at Avia Solutions Group, a group of companies involved in the aviation business. This year, as many as 83 of the strongest IT companies from 32 European countries took part in this annual IT-solution competition in the region.
In this competition, IT solutions designed and used by the companies and their business benefits were assessed. The implementation of DocLogix at Avia Solutions Group was recognized as the best information and document management solution in Europe by the international committee.
“The solution that received this important award is already being used in 20 group companies around the world, and today we cannot imagine efficient information management without it,” said Edmundas Vasonskis, IT Director at Avia Solutions Group. According to Vasonskis, the scale of document turnaround at the group of companies is gigantic – nearly 50,000 documents are processed by the system in a year. “Since implementation of the DocLogix system, contract and document management have sped up, administrative productivity has increased by 25%, and expenses relating to the printing of personnel documents and invoices have gone down by 60%,” said Vasonskis.
“The European IT & Software Excellence Awards is the only competition in Europe that evaluates not only theoretical solutions, but also solutions worthy of global attention that operate in reality and grant practical benefits to businesses,” said Jaroslav Gil, Director of DocLogix UAB. “Therefore, this recognition is particularly important for us.” Independent designers of software products, implementers and integrators participate in this competition, with DocLogix UAB that reached the finals.
In the finals, DocLogix competed with other three companies from Europe. One of these, German leader Empolis Information Management GmbH, presented implementation of a document management solution at aircraft-manufacturing company Airbus.
This year was the fourth time that DocLogix participated in the annual European IT-solutions competition. In 2011, the solution implemented at Swedbank was also recognized as the best information management solution, and in 2014 and 2010 the solution competed in the finals.
Representatives of DocLogix and Avia Solutions Group at the awards ceremony
