Changes in Microsoft authentication method

From October 1st, 2022, Microsoft is removing the ability to log into “Exchange Online” using a username and password (“Basic authentication” method).

According to the change, clients will be invited to log into the applications by using the modern OAuth 2.0 authentication. This method has many advantages and improvements that help better manage personal information and login data of users.

As a result of these changes, the functionality of automatic email capturing using POP and IMAP protocols will stop working in the DocLogix system.

The DocLogix team has done product development tasks and implemented functionality that will allow the usage of the OAuth 2.0 authentication method. This means that the email capturing functionality will continue to work after installing the latest version of the DocLogix system, updates and performing the necessary configuration.
